Dilated cardiomyopathy
I have 2 springers age 7and 8 Monty the elder one was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy a very serious heart condition at the end of may, and was desperately ill. He is now on a cocktail of tablets and doing well, no one knows how long he will live with this condition, we do know it will not be to ripe old age the diagnosis devastated us but we are learning to live with it just as monty is. I have gained quite a bit of knowledge in the past few months and if i can pass that on i would be only too pleased or if there is any owners out there with a dog with this problem maybe they know more than me and would love to hear from them or yourselves.
