Wilsons First show
BACK TO SHOW PAGE FORWARD TO 2nd SHOW
Well Wilson did his first show today ( sunday 14th January 2007 ) I had hopes that he would put on a good display after all the hard work we had put in ,stacking ( standing in the show position ) and walking with his show lead, as he does really well with his training at home. We arrived in good time got his cage set up so he could have space out of the way, which he took to really well he just lied down and watched every one around him , (and maybe even had a little nap ) soon we started to groom him so he would look his best for the show.
I usually have a lie in on Sunday I'm getting bored now Was it worth it ? Is this my best side ?
Then it was time to go into the ring !! Wilson walked quite well but would not 'stand '.
Each time I tried to correct his rear end he would turn away sharply, usually he doesn't mind being handled.
Something was wrong with him today.
